Creating a brochure/magazine


A brochure is a useful information tool that you can mail to customers or leave behind after meeting with the client. It is one of the best advertising tools used nowadays since people usually ignore the advertisements on the internet. Note that a brochure is only useful as an icebreaker. It won’t close the sale for you, but it will help you towards that goal.
These are examples of some of the brochures used in business and how they are usually laid out.
  •         Postcards
Postcards are great because they are very easy to mail and are handy for customers to carry around. They are a cost-effective way of sending some quick information about your promotions to your customers. They can also easily slide under doors of houses.

  •     Flat Sheets
This is a piece of double-sided paper. These are great for presentations because it gives you enough room to talk about a certain product and will show every single detail 
·         
  •     2-fold brochures
This is useful for splitting up information and reducing the size of the finished piece. These are great because you have the same about of space as a Flat Sheet, but are a little easier to take away for your customer.

  •     3-panel brochures
This is the typical standard brochure. You can section them off for various different products and services. If your brochure will be put in an area with a lot of competition, make sure that your logo and important messaging is on the top quarter of your cover because you won’t be able to choose where you will be positioned. The top quarter of your cover will always be visible, so that’s the only real estate that you’ll have to attract a customer in picking up your brochure vs a competitors.

The examples all clearly have the picture of the sports gear at the front along with the logo and the slogan. I think it is always good to have a slogan because in my opinion, the advertising always looks more professional and featured with one.

The design shows labeling with the interesting and unique features of the gear. It shows why its possibly different from all the other gears which attracts the reader's attention and desire. I would add the logo of my company somewhere in the top to let the reader know where that gear comes from and maybe they will be interested in buying it or any of my other creations.
